I seem to look for beauty where I know I can’t find it….
And I’ll stare straight at the sun, knowing it could leave me blinded….
And my sober mind is scary enough, so I’ll skip the booze and pills….
And if opportunities come, its best to believe that I will keep it real….
Im not asking for social homage, it might leave me in bondage….
Im asking for time for growth, where all our lives are grounded….
In faith, cause in humans we seem to lack in trust….
Loyalty died with chivalry, and love made no fuss….
Im watching the world burn and decay, and yet it seems that we still have time for planned mistakes….
Im trying to find the time to care… but my heart is weary and my smiles are delayed…
